The limbs of trees lacewebs..clear of leaves..limbs bare..sky clear…stars guide me to the sky to uplift me from winter slumber

Oh, that beautiful yellow-green of Spring — my favorite season! Here we are looking forward to the blaze of Autumn — my second favorite.

Vicki, how nice to hear from you in the blaze of autumn. The spring green is very bright here after all the rain. Thank you

Here we are, again, Juliet, at the cusp of changing seasons. I love your images of surviving and reviving and can almost smell the new growth as spring slowly emerges. Beautiful.

Penny, thank you. I enjoy the way we come to the cusp of opposite seasons. Spring is coming in like a lamb on unsteady feet this year, and we are having to be patient.

Hi Juliet. I love the spring freshness of green. And here near where I live NW of Auckland, many lambs have arrived on the scene. Recently, I buried one of my cats in a pet cemetery. How remarkable though when faced with death and the processes of grief, the daffodils and beautiful magnolia flowers on the property seemed to make that experience so much easier – the duality of “new” life and of death.

Denise, how poignant to be burying your cat while the spring flowers and lambs are appearing; such reminders of hope. Thank you.

Hi Juliet – I don’t wish our Autumn away, especially as it’s not started yet! But that knowledge that Spring is on its way after a winter is always so refreshing … love all your photos – the seasonal take that comes in Autumn or Spring – which weather are we experiencing … cheers and enjoy these days as they extend!
